Coal Miner Days is an annual three-day fair that attracts up to 4,000 people from nearby municipalities. It features numerous events held across the town, including a parade, baseball and golf tournaments, children's activities, fireworks, and a beer garden. She hopes people will attend the meeting and put their names forward to save the event.
