IPOH: Voters in the Slim constituency have been urged to come out and cast their ballots tomorrow. Those eligible should perform their responsibility as a citizen to vote for a new state assemblyman, said Election Commission (EC) secretary Ikmalrudin Ishak. Voters, especially those who have yet to get their voter’s card and voting details, are advised to check with the EC before polling day. The Slim state seat by-election was called after the death of its four-term incumbent Datuk Khusairi Abdul Talib. Ikmalrudin said an advisory on the voting time was stated on the voter’s card to prevent build-up of crowds at the polling station.
