THE Penang Hill funicular train service will be shut down for 12 days from Jan 11 to 22,2021, for its first bi-annual scheduled maintenance. Penang Hill Corporation (PHC) in a statement said the train service would resume on Jan 23. During the shutdown period, visitors may opt for the jeep service operated by the Penang Hill Residents Association or the existing hiking routes to reach the summit area of Penang Hill. “PHC would like to thank all visitors for the patience and continuous support.
