I was able to road test the latest electric bike offering from Espin eBikes. WellsWith competitive electric bikes retailing for $2400 and up, the Espin (sorta rhymes with 'test spin') at $1888 presents a very competitive offering. Something I recall, either from the book or from his slideshow before the panel, was his assertion that more bike riding will occur when we see more pretty well-dressed women riding bikes. Espin eBikes was started in San Francisco in 2015 and launched its flagship commuter eBike last month. It is a well-designed electric bike, at a great price and it should accelerate the trend of bike commuting.
