The Ogun State Government said it has concluded plans to procure additional 20 Armoured Personnel Carriers (APCs), as one of the ways to fortify all the security agencies towards peaceful elections. Amosun said: “Elections are known to be peaceful in Nigeria provided every one of us plays by the rules. “As a government, we want INEC, the CSOs and everybody to take note that our government and our party shall play by the rules. In Ogun State, we are sure of where we stand. The state commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, said security agencies in the state are working out modalities to ensure peaceful polls.
