Votes are still being counted, but the Conservatives are leading in most of Alberta’s ridings, including Foothills and Medicine Hat. Preliminary numbers out of Atlantic Canada, Quebec and Ontario have the Liberals leading, with projections showing they’re holding 115 seats so far. The Green Party of Canada has also made historic gains in Fredericton, leading in its first riding outside of British Columbia. An Ipsos poll released Sunday projects the Conservatives and the Liberals will be neck-and-neck, with the Conservatives leading nationwide by only two percentage points. Not all Alberta ridings are confident Tory strongholds, however.
