NEW ORLEANS—Zion Williamson will miss much more than the Pelicans’ season opener against the Raptors after surgery to repair a tear in his right knee. 1 pick in the NBA draft is expected to be out for up to two months. The six-foot-six, 285-pound Williamson averaged 23.2 points in four pre-season games, backing up the hype after a sensational year at Duke. He missed New Orleans’ final exhibition game in New York last Friday night with knee soreness. He was projected to start immediately at forward in a lineup with Lonzo Ball, Jrue Holiday, Brandon Ingram and Derrick Favors.
