Goals from Anthony Chingwa and Abraham Kogei earned Eldoret Youth an automatic promotion to the National Super League with two matches to spare. The unbeaten Division One side, who needed two points to seal the promotional chances to the second tier league, trounced hosts Transfoc FC 2-0 at St. Anthony’s Boys’ High School, Kitale. With the win, Eldoret Youth cemented top of the table with 64 points from 24 matches (won 20 and drew four) and now join Zone ‘A’ leaders Fortune Saccoin the second tier league. Last week, Fortune Sacco edged Mwatate United to seal Zone ‘A’ championship. They next travel to St Joseph’s Youth before winding up the season at home to Trans Mara Sugar.
