In a bid to seize property and money, an elderly man was allegedly murdered by his daughter-in-law and grandson in Faisalabad on Tuesday. Police said Waseem along with his mother Aasia bibi, broke into a fight over property issue with the elderly man identified as Basheer Ahmed. On September 29, a man tried to kill and set his 13-year-old niece on fire over a land dispute in Arifwala. On November 9 last year, at least five members of a family were killed when they were ambushed by a rival party over a minor property dispute in Batapur, Lahore. The Amjad group and Rafaqat group had a property dispute in Diyal Pind.
