Meanwhile, a bundle of cash dropped to the ground and was picked up by the robbers. As they were fleeing with the cash, the citizens tried to catch hold of them. In return, the robbers opened fire, as a result of which one of the citizens, Waqar Hussain, 32, was injured. Police have taken the robbers’ motorcycle into custody. According to police, the robbers were able to take away cash worth more than Rs100,000 from the citizens.
