A 91-year-old man and his 88-year-old wife have finally recovered from COVID-19 after spending three weeks in a hospital in Leicester, England. Michael and Gillian England, who have been married for 61 years, were discharged on July 17, as per Leicester’s Hospitals post on Facebook on July 18. ADVERTISEMENTDuring their time in the medical center, a staff member noted that Michael would get dressed every morning before receiving treatment. The couple continued to take their meals and drink tea with one another throughout their journey to recovery. “I want to get better so I can look after my wife – first and foremost, I want to be there for Gillian,” Michael said when they left the hospital.
