Thirty-eight percent of respondents believed that they don’t have sufficient medical insurance, which 41 percent of them intended to take out an insurance policy. In the life insurance sector, the company also launched its new HSBC Family Protector, which people can apply online with a life coverage of up to HK$7 million. The customer could also choose for 4 additional benefits, including children protection, critical illness and cancer protections, hospital cash benefits, and accidental death benefit. The company claimed that the daily premium could be as low as HK$10.93 and provided guaranteed fixed premiums for every 10-year period.
