The span 6D was installed around 9am on Friday, thus 1200 metres of the bridge is now assembled. Assistant Engineer of the Padma Bridge Project, Humayun Kabir, confirmed the matter to the Dhaka Tribune. He said the span was set to be installed on pillars on Thursday, but it was delayed to Friday due to technical complications.
