I am running for Student Elected Trustee to bridge the divide between administrative decision-making powers and the incorporation of student voice in the discussion and decision-making process. These are the focus of my platform:(1) Incorporate diverse student voices on the panel with more opportunities for direct communication between the students and the board. (2) Assess and remove knowledge and financial barriers that restrict students and student groups from equal access to resources and opportunities. I will work on establishing channels of communication between schools to share best methods of guidance for different departments and career paths. I am running to amplify all student voices and push the board to take student opinions into serious consideration in the decision-making process.
