Notably, Mueller said Trump twice called White House counsel Don McGahn to demand that he get Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to fire Mueller. Mueller said Trump told former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski to tell then-attorney general Jeff Sessions to meet with Mueller and somehow limit Mueller’s investigation to figuring out how to prevent future election interference. And Mueller said Trump repeatedly sought to get Sessions to un-recuse himself from the investigation so that Sessions could curtail it. The Mueller report revealed many more lies.
