A number of flights have been cancelled at Dublin Airport as a snowstorm is still affecting parts of continental Europe. Although Dublin Airport is fully operational today, a spokesperson advised of some further possible disruption due to difficult weather conditions. Eight flights have been cancelled today at Dublin Airport to and from affected countries, including three return flights between Dublin and Amsterdam and one return service between Dublin and Brussels. Yesterday, Knock Airport advised travellers of “very challenging” roads leading to the airport, and asked people to take extra care on the roads. On Monday, heavy snowfall disrupted air, road and rail travel in France and the Netherlands, resulting in hundreds of flights being cancelled in Paris and Amsterdam.
