At least 10 “extremely dangerous” terrorists were killed in a military raid in North Sinai province in northeastern Egypt, the Egyptian armed forces announced on Sunday. The terrorists had guns and ammunition in their possession, in addition to hand grenades, explosive belts, and a number of wireless devices. The terrorists in Sinai are mostly loyal to the Islamic State (IS) regional terrorist group. Earlier this month, at least 11 Egyptian soldiers were killed in clashes with terrorists attacking a water pumping station east of the Suez Canal. A few days later, the army announced killing 23 terrorists in raids that led to the death of five soldiers.
