(MENAFN - Daily News Egypt) Minister of Interior Magdy Abdel Ghaffar granted prisoners one-time visit during the upcoming period starting from next week until the end of October, in celebration anniversary of the victory of 6 October War of 1973. The exceptional visits will not be counted among essential visits allowed to prisoners throughout their time in prison. The ministry said that it is keen to provide the prison inmates the opportunity to share the celebration with their families. The ministry grants pardons to prisoners in a regular manner before major religious and national occasions. In Early September, the ministry pardoned 211 prisoners in celebration of the Islamic holiday of Eid Al-Adha.
