Abdelatty held political consultations with Lunda, who is making her first visit to Egypt on the anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in November 1960. The ministers discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations and expand cooperation in various fields. They emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation between chambers of commerce and business associations in both countries to elevate economic cooperation. Abdelatty added that Egypt looks forward to maximizing the benefits of the free trade agreement between Egypt and the bloc. Following the consultations, a memorandum of understanding for cooperation was signed between the Institute for Diplomatic Studies of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Diplomatic Academy of Bolivia.
