For most people, performing with handbells, like recorders, was an experience restricted to elementary school. She picked up her childhood instrument again when she enrolled at Concordia University of Edmonton four years ago. This spring, she will be the first Bachelor of Arts student in Canada to graduate with a major in handbell studies. Her solo recital included an array of pieces from handbells with piano to handbells with guitar and vocals. Concordia has the largest collection of handbells and handchimes in Canada.
