Game Day 73: Oilers at BluesThe tumblers fell in place for your correspondent to attend the most recent Edmonton Oilers game, at Las Vegas on Sunday night as part of the Air Canada Fan Flight promotion. I’m guessing that particular feature is a case of “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas”; I don’t see it catching on league-wide. I’d already heard a couple of episodes of “SOOOOO” before the Oilers registered their first shot on net several minutes in. Even as the game itself was a bit of a letdown for visiting Oilers fans, this one had a blast in, ahem, Sin City. Whether they can raise their game in this important aspect will be a critical factor against the playoff-bound Blues tonight.
