Edmonton Oil Kings eyeing at least a split heading to Prince Albert

The Edmonton Oil Kings had home-ice advantage through the first two rounds of the Western Hockey League playoffs, but will start on the road against the Prince Albert Raiders. That may be a good thing for the Oil Kings, who looked nervous in their series openers against the Medicine Hat Tigers and Calgary Hitmen before going on to win the series. But the Oil Kings did defeat the Raiders at home this season, one of only four regulation losses at the Art Hauser Centre for the Raiders. “I think they have pretty good depth and they’re a pretty physical team,” said Oil Kings forward Quinn Benjafield. And I think it’ll be a good series.”Email: dvandiest@postmedia.comOn Twitter: @DerekVanDiestEASTERN CONFERENCE FINALEdmonton Oil Kings vs Prince Albert RaidersGame 1: Oil Kings at Raiders, Friday (7 p.m.)Game 2: Oil Kings at Raiders, Saturday (7 p.m.)Game 3: Raiders at Oil Kings, Tuesday (7 p.m.)Game 4: Raiders at Oil Kings, Wednesday (7 p.m.)*Game 5: Oil Kings at Raiders, April 26 (7 p.m.)*Game 6: Raiders at Oil Kings, April 28 (2 p.m.)*Game 7: Oil Kings at Raiders, April 30 (7 p.m.)*if necessary
