Sir Eion EdgarForsyth Barr chairman Sir Eion Edgar has retired today from the board of Forsyth Barr. He was chairman for the past 20 years. Independent director David Kirk will become chairman after serving on the board for eight years. Sir Eion (72) said the last 20 years had been a wonderful time to chair Forsyth Barr. "However, there comes time for most things to transition and the great news is the board has unanimously appointed David Kirk to become the chairman.
