(FMIC) and the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P) said in a joint report. While inflation is expected to start easing in the last two months of 2018, officials still expect the full-year average to top the target at 5.3 percent. Fourth quarter growth last year was 6.5 percent. Government spending, FMIC and the UA&P said, is expected to hit the target of 6.3 percent of GDP. Exports and remittances, FMIC and the UA&P said, should also support growth during the period.
