KUALA LUMPUR: Catholics who are unable to attend the Easter vigil can tune in to a live broadcast of the mass online. The Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur will be broadcasting this year’s Easter vigil mass via its YouTube channel on Saturday. Watching the mass does not substitute for being present personally or fulfilling mass obligations but does provide a means for Catholics to be united spiritually, Fr Labrooy said. The broadcast will cover the 5.30pm Easter vigil mass on Saturday. Easter is the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, three days after he was crucified.
