There's an unsettled shift in the weather outlook for Easter. The North Island could have cloudy periods west of Taupo, with a few showers north of Auckland. Saturday is expected to have a few showers about Northland and rain developing in the North Island south of Taranaki. In the South Island, the outlook is for unsettled weather with rain or showers, and possibly heavy falls. Things were expected to be getting better by Monday, but the North Island could still have some rain or showers.
