East Delhi Lok Sabha constituency is witnessing arguably the most intense battle among the seven seats in Delhi. Also in the fray is senior Congress leader Arvinder Singh Lovely who has decent clout in East Delhi. East Delhi is a cosmopolitan constituency consisting of people from all economic strata. The assembly segments under East Delhi Lok Sabha segment fter 2008 delimitation are Jangpura, Okhla, Trilokpuri, Kondli, Patparganj, Laxmi Nagar, Vishwas Nagar, Krishna Nagar, Gandhi Nagar and Shahdara. With two newcomers and a consummate politician in the fray, all bets are off in East Delhi and all eyes will be on 23rd May to see who finally emerged victorious.
