More than 1900 people felt Sunday night's quake near Hastings. A magnitude-4.5 earthquake has rattled the North Island. The quake struck at 10.32pm on Sunday, 25km north of Hastings. GeoNet said the earthquake was 18km deep and the shaking was moderate close to where it was centred. More than 1900 people reported feeling the quake.
