A police spokeswoman said the Armed Offenders Squad were assisting local police as part of a pre-planned search on Wednesday morning related to recent crimes in the greater Queenstown area. A 44-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman were arrested and are due to appear in the Queenstown District Court on Wednesday.
