Filipino tennis wunderkind Alex Eala made a rousing performance in her maiden professional doubles match, as she and Russian partner Oksana Selekhmeteva won in their first round match early Wednesday (Philippine time) in the International Tennis Federation (ITF) World Tennis Tour at W25 Platja D’Aro in Spain. Eala and Selekhmeteva are to face the Russian pair and tournament top-seeds Vlada Koval and Sofya Lansere on Thursday. In the same tournament, Eala was also battling Spanish Alba Carillo Marin in the singles first round on Wednesday night.
