Young tennis star Alex Eala is one of those bright stars for the country amid these trying times as she made it to the second round of the 2020 Roland Garros juniors tournament on Sunday. Eala erased a 1-4 deficit in the first round before the game was momentarily stopped because of rain. The ITF Junior World No. Eala, a scholar of Rafa Nadal Academy in Mallorca, Spain, where she studies and trains, is the lone representative of Asia in the 2020 Roland Garros juniors tournament. This was Eala’s return to action after the Covid-19 pandemic canceled Wimbledon and the US Open juniors tournament.
