“Interfusionism is a style where the artist uses parts of other artists’ style or technique and blends it with other styles and techniques to convey another story. It doesn’t promote fakeness or plagiarism but it gives honor to the artists whom the creator gets his inspiration from. It’s fusion of dishes but the originality lies in the inventor of the fusion, not the dish,” he said about his art. Looking at his work, many would immediately see semblance to the works of National Artist for Visual Arts Arturo Luz, but Yu is quick to defend his style.
