"The European Parliament (EP) President Martin Schulz, meanwhile, stressed that the EP's determination to fight against terrorism in France, in Europe, and elsewhere is not deterred. In the session, they also reiterated "strong unequivocal condemnation of terrorism in all its forms. "I call on the French people to stand strong and united against these acts of hatred," Schulz said in a statement "France should not surrender its values of freedom, equality, and fraternity." Calling the incident "coawardly act of terror", the European Commission (EC) President Jean-Claude Juncker said that the EC will continue to support France and the rest of EU countries in fight against terrorism within and outside the EU.The EC also switched colour of its Twitter account logo into black to pay condolences to the tragedy.The European Council President Donald Tusk also mourned the tragedy's victims in remarks after his meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, where the two leaders discussed on cooperation against terrorism.Juncker and Tusk were attending the 11th Asia-Europe Summit in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia , where they and other high-ranking officials from 51 entities from Asia and Europe stood in a minute of silence for France prior to the plenary session.
