According to the ministry, the Thai Embassy in Paris is contacting a committee of Thai women in Nice - where the terror attack struck - to determine if any Thai is affected by the incident. There are 11,165 Thais residing in France at the time of the attack, the Foreign Affairs Ministry said yesterday. The shocking tragedy on the Bastille Day has already claimed 84 lives and injured dozens of victims, many of them seriously. It also warned Thai citizens, both currently in France and scheduled to arrive there, to be cautious in public commutation, avoid mass crows and closely follow updates from French officials.
