The BSE Sensex closed 180 points down at 30,958.25.Public sector banks stood among top losers of the day with Syndicate Bank falling the most 5.82 per cent, followed by Punjab National Bank (5.35 per cent). State Bank of India Andhra Bank and Bank of Baroda tumbled over 3 per cent each on Tuesday. Shares of Tejas Networks made a flat debut at Rs 257 on Tuesday against the issue price of Rs 257. It was followed by Dabur Wipro and Castrol India On the option from maximum Put open interest stood intact at 9,500 followed by 9,400 strike while maximum Call open interest shifted to 9,600 followed by 9,700 strike.
