Some have already lost nominations in the party primaries which, in some counties, signal the end of their tenure. Our concern is that county assets are under threat of plunder during this transition period. First, there is concern that the governors have tapped into county resources to fund their campaigns. Such fellows cannot be trusted with county resources. Last year, a Motion that sought to streamline transition in the counties was tabled before the Senate, but was not passed.
