The driver of an e-scooter has died following a collision in Waterford city. Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to the collision at the junction of Manor Hill (Bunker’s Hill) and Hennessy’s Road. "The driver of the e-scooter, a male in his 40s, was taken to University Hospital Waterford where he was later pronounced deceased. The driver of the car, a male in his 80s, was taken to University Hospital Waterford for treatment of injuries believed to be non life-threatening," said a Garda spokesperson.
