Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has rejected a CBI probe, while the Opposition has stepped up the demand for Minister K.J. Ganapathy got louder with his brother M.K. The demand for a CBI probe into the death of Deputy Superintendent of Police M.K. Thammaiah, Ganapathy’s another brother who is also in the police force, said the deceased Dy.SP was being treated for depression. Machaiah expressing concern over the possibility of government or senior officials influencing the outcome of the ongoing CID inquiry.
