President Rodrigo Duterte again appealed to telecommunications companies to improve their services. “I appeal to telcos, can you do a better job? It pisses me off to no end, discussing these telcos,” the President said. Duterte also renewed his appeal to local government officials to allow telcos to build structures to enable them to improve their services. He said that telcos’ operations are hindered by the many requirements imposed by local officials.
