MANILA: Philippines president Rodrigo Duterte (pic) will chair the Asean Plus Three (APT) Leaders' Interface with the East Asia Business Council (EABC) later Monday. The APT comprises 10 Asean member countries plus China, Japan and South Korea. The EABC involves three business leaders from each Asean member country plus China, Japan and South Korea. The interface provides an avenue for the APT heads of government to highlight the significance of private sector partnership during the duration of the 31st Asean Summit and related summits. The EABC, led by Thailand, the 2017 Chair, will brief leaders on its activities and recommendations.
