MIRI: A heavy downpour early Monday resulted in landslides on certain parts of Canada Hill here, with several houses affected by the soil movement. The land movement has caused several houses in Kampung Lereng Bukit, located at the foot of the hill, to tilt. "The soil movement was caused by the heavy rain. The 200m-high Canada Hill overlooking Miri is the site of the country's first oil well in the 1890s. Weather authorities have warned of heavy rain in the northern parts of Borneo.
