Our Special CorrespondentCalcutta: A woman and her son, apparently kidnapped from her parental home in the Calcutta Leather Complex area on January 21, were rescued from a brothel in Burdwan on Sunday, police said. Six days after they disappeared, the family received a ransom call, tracing which cops arrested two men, including one in Sealdah where the ransom was to be paid. A missing diary was registered with Calcutta Leather Complex police station on January 21 about the woman and her son. He was arrested and the woman and her son rescued from the second floor of the house. The ground floor had been turned into a brothel, the police said.
