The terror attack had similarities to a stabbing spree at Countdown Dunedin Central during which a 42-year-old allegedly stabbed two staff members and a married couple on May 10. She said staff at the Dunedin Countdown, where a man went on a stabbing rampage in May, were also being offered support. Sri Lanka's Daily Express Weekend Express editor in chief Hana Ibrahim told Morning Report news of the terror attack had horrified the country.
