St John condemns vandalism after tyres slashed on three ambulances, leaving them undriveableHato Hone St John has condemned the vandalism of three of their ambulances as police hunt for the offenders who slashed tyres on vehicles, forcing them off the road. Counties Manukau Police are investigating the damage caused by the offenders after they broke into the gated yard of St John’s Manukau Station on Saturday night and punctured five tyres of three vehicles. Senior Sergeant Roelof Burger said the vehicles will now be yard-bound for a “period of time”. “While in the yard the offenders have punctured five tyres on three vehicles using a sharp object, rendering them inoperable.”
