Al Amna was also lucky, in the sense that no Chennai City defender stepped forward to deny him. Soon after, Al Amna made a powerful run down the middle that again destabilised the already-struggling Chennai City defence. A silly miscommunication between Veniamin and the Chennai City goalkeeper, after Mehtab Singh tried for a set-up, helped Dudu intercept and calmly slot the ball home. His second of the match came in the 49th minute, with Al Amna again doing the main work.
