SIPITANG: Angry at being accused of stealing a mobile phone, a drunken man stabbed his colleague to death at a workers’ quarters here on Sunday. The 21-year-old co-worker, who is also believed to have been drunk, died of severe stomach injuries in the 11.30pm incident, the Sipitang Hospital confirmed. “The victim had been searching for his mobile phone at the suspect’s house, when an argument broke out and the suspect stabbed the victim in the stomach with a knife. Although the 36-year-old suspect disappeared after the stabbing, police were tipped-off to his whereabouts, and he was detained at 1.30am on Monday. “Investigations found that the suspect and the victim were both drunk at the time.
