Gauteng police are investigating a drunk driving case after a video surfaced on social media of an allegedly drunk police officer crashing into a motorcyclist. A few meters away from the vehicle, a motorcyclist can be seen lying in the road in a white helmet, black jacket, blue jeans and black boots. The allegedly drunk police officer is led away by his belt and is handed over to two other police officers. "A criminal case of drunk driving and an internal case in terms of the disciplinary regulations are instituted against the member and he will face the consequences of his actions," Mawela said.
