According to a court summary, Thomas imported packages into New Zealand from various countries during a four-month period in 2015. Police raided the three Himatangi Beach houses in March 2016, finding Thomas in one of them. Tor networks are used to access the dark web, where people can buy drugs and other illegal substances, while Bitcoins are used to buy items over the dark web.
