Rugby fans have started to pour into Auckland campervan sites ahead of the third and deciding All Blacks and British and Irish Lions test at Eden Park on Saturday night. Alexandra Park was one site which partnered with Auckland Tourism Events and Economic Development to deliver a pop-up campervan park. Twelve thousand people reportedly attended the Alexandra Park test match which was the deciding test of the tour. The park had a "historical connection" to rugby, Reichardt said. The Lions Tour has led to a significant boost in spending across the country.
