MANILA — A drug surrenderer was shot dead in Marikina City on Wednesday evening. Senior Superintendent Lorenzo Holanday, Marikina police chief, said Arman dela Paz, 47, died around 6 p.m. in front of 171 P. Burgos St., Sto. Nino, Marikina City after still unidentified gunmen on board a motorcycle fired several shots at him. ADVERTISEMENTDela Paz was included on the barangay’s drug watch list who surrendered in the Oplan Tokhang program, police said. Information from the Eastern Police District showed that Dela Paz’s murder was among the 10 deaths under investigation in Marikina since July.
